Womenswear Wednesday – Z-Mode Fall/Winter 2012
Designer, Victoria Rangayah is the impeccible designer behind the contemporary line Z-Mode. The collection perfect timing for the Oscars® and inspired by black and white movies.
Launching her first spring 2011 collection during London Fashion Week, the objective was on ethical fashion. This eco designer I have been following for a little while now showcased her Fall/Winter 2012 collection and her sustainable noteworthy counterpart-shoe lace recycling into her garments. Thats right you read me correctly, recycled shoe laces. A graduate of London School of Fashion and working in a denim designer manufacturing company, she had bigger aspirations of doing her own creative ethical collaboration. Her aesthetics are strong in femininity and tailoring.
Victoria created a made-to-order opportunity called Unica (Pronounced, ‘OO-nee-kah’) that creates “Slow Fashion” vs. Mass Production to have your garment created by this service. You can discuss your ideal garment at your own location as Victoria comes to you! And you both sit down and create your custom garment from start to finish. Talk about service and quality!
Check out her preview of Fall/Winter 2012. You can purchase her collection at Global Fashion Brands in the U.S. and in the U.K. www.youngbritishdesigners.co.uk
