Pittsburgh Fashion Week Presents One of the largest Designer/Retailer meetings EVER!

Designers and retailers near and far have reserved a spot for the biggest (most exciting!) fashion event in Pittsburgh history.

And it all kicks off at the Gallery of the Pittsburgh Art Institute–downtown, Tuesday May 17, 6:30pm‐8pm–Where designers and retailers will enjoy light refreshments, entertainment, and receive pertinent information regarding involvement in this: The Second Annual Pittsburgh Fashion Week, scheduled September 26 and Oct. 2, 2011. With back‐to‐back runway shows and a vendor’s fair, talented artisans and leading retailers will delight the city with their artistry of fashion, style and beauty. Gone is the PowerPoint presentation, the droning keynote speaker…in comes the fashion! Featuring tow of last year fashion week artisans: Anthony Mock–Mock & Co., custom made jewelry and Lana Neumeyer, Brazilian Fashion designer specializing in designs with Chita and eco‐friendly Burlap to name a few.

Additional highlights include specialty shows: Petite Plus Perfection (PPP); Eco‐Chic-an over-sold performance at Fashion Week’s inaugural event; promising to, again, over-°©‐sell! And Fashion Stars of Tomorrow—a new and exciting opportunity for student designers.
